dc.description.abstract wants to find out the dominant tenses used by interviewed English native speakers. The purpose of this research is find out what errors they probably made, and what types of error they made, in this case in spoken English. Based on the result and its analysis, the researcher found 511 sentences with all 9 types of tenses used by the interviewed English native speaker. From all all 9 types of tenses, 82.2% of it is simple present tense. From all 511 sentences, the interviewed English native speaker makes 109 (21.3%) error, dominantly classified as omission of error with 58%. The researcher hopes that the students get more activities namely speaking in learning English not only in school but also in their daily activity because it can improve their knowledge about English learning. Besides, teaching-learning activity must be improved to get the satisfactory result. The teacher must guide the student to speak in English and avoid error in speaking. These errors will be affected and made misunderstanding. en_US
