Abstract:
This research is conducted to know whether peer feedback technique is effective or not in teaching reading comprehension narrative text at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 6 Purworejo in the academic year of 2015/2016.The design of this research is an experimental quantitative research using pre-test, treatment, and post-test.
In collecting data, the researcher uses pre-test and post-test. In this research, the researcher takes 60 students as sample from X-6 as experimental group and X-5 as control group. The researcher uses peer feedback technique to teach narrative text. In analyzing the data, the researcher uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The researcher uses t-test polled variance to test the hypothesis.
The result of this research shows that peer feedback technique iseffective in teaching narrative text at the tenth grade students of SMA N 6 Purworejo in the academic year of 2015/2016. It is proven by the result of this research shows that Peer Feedback Technique is effective in teaching reading comprehension narrative text, since it is found that the result of t-value is 3.664. It means that t-value of this study is higher than the t-table. The t-table is 2.000. It means that using Peer Feedback Technique In Teaching Reading Comprehension Narrative Text iseffective, therefore Ha is accepted.
