The results of this research showed that the mean score of experimental
group was 73.9 and the mean of control group was 62.9. To see whether the
hypothesis was accepted or rejected, the t-value was consulted to the t-table at the
0.05 significance level. It shows that the t-table was 1.99 and the t-value was 6.32.
It means that t-value was higher than t-table, that was 6.32 > 1.99. It means that
there is improvement in students’ speaking skill after taught by using fishbowl
technique.
