Abstract:
The purpose of this research are to know how is the students’ learning style,
how far is the students’ learning achievement and to find out whether any positive
influence of students learning style on their learning achievement.
In this research, the researcher took 80 students among the population 392
students in the eleventh grade of SMK Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun as my samples
of my research.
The method of the research is questionnaire and documentation, the researcher
got data using questionnaire of learning style and mid-term value. Then, the
researcher calculates both manually on by using SPSS version 16. Based on the
computation, the researcher finds three things. First, the mean of students learning
achievement is 70.8 and it is categorized as high. Second, there is a positive on
significance influence of students’ learning style on their learning achievement, the
test score that is 0.406. Third, the auditory learning style is more prevelent among
student,the precentage of auditory students is 42.5%.
The findings shown above can be proved from the number of samples (N=80)
on the level of significance (5%), the result of the computation done both manually
on by SPSS is 0.406. Based on the value in the table of r product moment, for N=80
on the significance level =5%, the value of r product moment (rt) that is 0.406 >
0.220 on it is categorized as a medium correlation and regression is 16,4%. It means
that there is a medium influence of students’ learning style on their learning
achievement.
