dc.description.abstract This study aims at analyzing the exercise on the descript ive texts f o u n d i n “P r o gr es i f ” wo r k s h eet u s i n g r ev i s ed by Bloom’ s Taxonomy. The type of the study is descriptive qualitative study. The object of this study is the descriptive reading texts and the questions of the exercises presented in the English worksheet entitled “Progresif” used in second semester of the first grade of Junior High School. In this research, the researcher finds that there are two types of texts on this book. They are descriptive and procedure text. However, the writer focuses her analysis on the questions of the descriptive texts using revised Bloom’s Taxonomy. She concluded that the levels of questions in the worksheet based on revised Bloom taxonomy belongs to remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. It is found that 69% of the questions are dominated on the remembering, 22% of questions are understanding, 9% of the questions are analyzing, and there are no question categorized on the applying, evaluating, and creating. It means that the questions of the exercises on the descriptive text developed found in “Progresif” worksheet are categorized in lowest level of cognitive process dimension. en_US
