dc.description.abstract to communicate each other, express feelings, idea and thought. In Indonesia, English is one of foreign language which must be mastered by students. It’s difficult for them to practice English because it’s not Indonesian mother tongue or Indonesian first language. One of the most difficult problem faced English non-native speaker is pronunciation. It’s usually the great problems when people try to achieve fluency when they speak. Actually, pronunciation has very important part to be used because mispronunciation can makes different meaning and also difficult to deliver the message in conversation. It requires chance, time, experience, practice and also certain skill. So, it’s not easy to master the pronunciation. The researcher used ABC News video as a media to teach pronunciation. By using ABC News video, students can see and listen how the way native speaker pronounce words. So, they can imitate the native speakers do. This research is an experimental research and the aim of this research is to know whether ABC News video is effective or not to improve students’ pronunciation and also to know the pronunciation mastery of the second grade students’ of computer networking technique class of Vocational High School Puspajati Buluspesantren in the academic year 2013/2014. The population of the study is second grade students Vocational High School Puspajati Buluspesantren as many as 101 students. The researcher took one class as a sample, that was Computer Networking Technique class. The sample is 33 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used pre-test and post-test. Between doing pre-test and post-test, the researcher gave treatment by showing ABC News video. After getting the data needed, the researcher analyzing the data using t-test method. The result of this research shows that ABC news video is effective to improve students’ pronunciation at the second grade students’ of computer networking technique class of Vocational High School Puspajati Buluspesantren in the academic year 2013/2014, since the mean score of pretest is 59.84 and the mean score of post test is 69.61. Also it was found that the result of t-value is 7.753 based on 0.05 significance level, the value of t-table is 1.697, the computation shows that t-value is higher than t-table that is 7.753>1.697. en_US
