dc.description.abstract Abstract The student’s writing in intellectual, social and emotional development is mostly expanded nowadays.The study at university shows the student’s writing is so popular that stimulate students to write a paper. Yet, they find difficulty to search an alternative model to write a paper. The purpose of this study is to describe the need and prototype of learning model to increase the student’s writing. This study uses research and development. Quatitative analysis to find the effectiveness of model implementation using CFA (confirmatory factor analysis), withLisrel 8.8, factor analysis with SPSS 11.0 for windows,and descriptive analysis for explaining the effectiveness of usingthe model and module/hand out. writing essay needs model withmore activities for student. According to theory, developed prototype is combination between group and personal learning, showing the problem by an article. Based on the test, it demonstrates all variables have a factor; (λ) > 0,3; Chi- Square, df=1, ρ-value ≥ 0,05; RMSEA ≤ 0,08; dan GFI ≥ 0,90. There is relevancy between the model and field data. Writing essay using the model based on problem involves students’ experience. the field test investigate writing essay by personal, social and academic experience. It can used to set the their achievement in writing. The conclusion accrording to assesment, the students are more active and creative.
