Consultant: Zulia Chasanah, S.S, M.Pd These studies aimed at analyzing form auxiliary in video game entitled Samurai Warriors 2. There are two objectives of the research namely: to find out the auxiliary in Nagamasa’s dream: Showdown at Sekigahara from video game entitled Samurai Warrior 2 and To find out the way of teaching for English grammar using video game entitled Samurai Warrior 2. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The object of the research is English auxiliary in Nagamasa’s dream: Showdown at Sekigahara from video game entitled Samurai Warriors 2. The data is taken from Samurai Warriors 2 which could be played in PC. The researcher uses observation in collecting the data and then analyzed the data in some steps. The result of data analysis showed that: the researcher found that the most auxiliaries used in video game entitled Samurai Warriors 2 are aspectual auxiliaries. Types of auxiliaries which is used in the Nagamas’s dream: Showdown at Sekigahara from the video game entitled Samurai Warriors 2 are; modal auxiliary, aspectual auxiliary, passive auxiliary, and dummy auxiliary. The researcher found 30.52% for modal auxiliaries, 52.54% for aspectual auxiliaries, 11.86% for passive auxiliaries, and 5.08% dummy auxiliaries. The application of English auxiliary in video game entitled Samurai Warriors 2 is to teach English grammar. The indicator is Student can dentify auxiliary and apply the auxiliary in making sentence. The researcher suggests to the teachers, they can use autentic matelials like this video game so teachers can maximize teaching result. For the students, video game can help them learning syntax with something entertaining and fun. Keywords: (Syntactic analysis, auxiliary, video game, teaching grammar)
