The result of the analysis of politeness strategy can be applied in teaching
speaking in senior high school by using debate transcript to create activities which
helps students practice speaking such as making conversation to deliver opinion.
Of course, a teacher must simplify the structure, vocabulary, grammar, and the
topic to be adjusted to the studentsā level of English mastery so it will be easy to
learn and handle.
